PLEASE get training before you try to fly a trike.

These machines are safe, easy to fly, and so very much fun; however, from my personal experience it is the new pilots to trikes who are injured, or even killed by trying to fly a trike without enough training to understand the controls, and how to properly use them.

It does not matter that you have flown other aircraft, or if you were a fighter pilot "back during the war". No matter what you think, "You can not fly anything".

You must get training to fly these craft safely. The controls are different, albeit much simpler, than regular fixed wing aircraft; therefore, training is necessary to understand the differences.

Please, Please, Please budget accordingly for training, it is cheap compared to the consequences, and costs of making a mistake that could have been avoided with a few hours of dual flight with an instructor.

Remember there are people that care about you, and depend upon you. You owe it to them to get the training you need to be safe

Fly safe, and you'll fly a lot.
